Huh? Oh, yeah. I made it to be a third in Count's memory (since it seems he's pretty much dead from the site), a third because we needed a new banner, and a third because he's one of "The PokéUmbras!". With the banners I make, I'm going to try to make one with each of one of The PokéUmbras! on it.

Oh, I'm sorry.
I posted that thread because Count couldn't see it on his comp for some reason, so I tried posting it in a thread for him, so he could see it.
He left, but he still checked back every once in a while to see how things were going, but, I don't know about it anymore, since, you know, the forum is basically dead.

The site had a good run, aye... I wish it hadn't died, but... it just seems like we kept talking and talking and talking and then nothing got done. We didn't take action... We DID post every now and then, waited replies, but there were none...
I still look back here, every now and then, just to see it one last time. I miss my friends here and I wish it was still a lively place. Just wishful thinking, I guess. *Shrugs*
Maybe one day it'll come back... one day...

The main problem is that we hadn't come up with anything to draw people in -- well, people who are willing to stay active.
No offense, but when it boils down to it, this is just another Pokemon forum. Every day, at least five Pokemon forums are created. For every one of those five, or more, each only has a 0.1% of surviving forever and a day more. Forums like SPPf and PC, and PE2K, managed to take on the odds and successfully tackle them down. MMC could only keep the odds down for about two years, and then it started to fall just as this place did.
So how did SPPf, PC, and PE2K shoot to the highest level of popularity? I'll tell you, it took more than just a couple years for each.
SPPf branches from a successful and funded website that is owned by a hardcore Pokemon N-Sider who would sacrifice anything to beat all of his competitors at his own game: finding ground-breaking news about the official future of Pokemon.
PC started as a forum just like this. It didn't need a site, but the owner's advertising abilities were phenomenal. Over time, the place grew bigger. Most forums can't start like that, but this one was lucky.
PE2K branches from a site that provides sprites for game creators, spriters, and what not, while providing decent information about practically all aspects of Pokemon, though not nearly as detailed as Serebii.Net. Albeit, they stopped updating as of September 2007, but their forum lives on.
See what two of those three have in common? They all have a site to go with it. PU had a site, but it was for fun rather than for informing the people interested. That's what we need: a site!
Instead of advertising the forums, we need to advertise said site. If people like our site, then they join the forums, stay active, and everyone is happy.
I can start us off with the raw coding for a theme for a site, but then I'll let whoever pick up from there.
Anyone interested in the idea?

I agree.
But I have no time for a site. :PP I'm working on a novel and my band.
;] I'm back. Yeah... I know it's been like a year... Sorry.
